THE
Not since 1983 have die hard Tiger Fans actually been able to look
forward with hope and glee…why? Because we had future died-in-wool bonafied young baseball stars like MORRIS, GIBSON, PETRY,
TRAMMELL, WHITAKER, LEMON, PARRISH and a great leader, SPARKY
ANDERSON to lead them to the promised land. So, why all the optimism? [...]

All of you Tiger FAN (ATICS) will get it right. Because all you need to do

JIM leyland’s favoritistic tactics has gone too far…yesterday he was
faced with a decision…he had to send a position player to Toledo to open up a roster spot. He has one outfielder hitting just over .200
with defensive problems and a weak throwing arm. He has another
young stallion hitting around .260 with great defensive [...]

Carlos Guillen is back! I thought it was beautiful to see him scampering
around 2nd base on Saturday (7=16-11) . There are several ways that it’s good, but in my book the best one is that Jim Leyland cannot start his little favorite, him with the robust .214 BA, Ryan Rayburn. Isn’t that
music to [...]

As we see it the Tigers have three glaring weaknesses such as 1) a hitting 3rd baseman, 2) a fifth dependable starting pitcher and 3) a
long ball hitting outfielder. Would Placido Polanco satisfy you at 3rd?
The guy wakes up at midnight hitting line drives into RF! Would Jair
Jurrjens get your approval as [...]

Let’s set the scene.
The Giants are starting a young lites out right hander.
Now, naturally the Tigers want as many left handed hitters in there as
is possible.
Leyland has the switch hitting Santiago that he can play at 2nd.
Playing him at 2nd will enable the hot hitting Johnny Peralto to remain
in the lineup at short.
Right now is [...]

How would our pitching staff look with JAIR JURRJENS and EDWIN
JACKSON as our 4th and 5th starters behind VERLANDER, SCHERZER
and PENNEY??? Well, you know it coulda’ been as both of these gutsey
pitchers not too long ago wore the english “D”. And, guess what? WBWF was opposed to both of their departures especially [...]

bAlthough he never managed an inning at Comerica his number, #11, will
live there forever. The Tigers made sure of that today as they came from behind and defeated Kirk Gibson’s Diamon dbacks 8-3. The way the
club came from behind with a six run rally in the 8th had #11 written
all over it.

The guys Leyland runs out there from two through seven in the batting order is a Captain’s dream. And then two more excellent country hitters
by the name of GUILLEN & ORDONEZ flash before my eyes and Pat races for my drool towel. Where is Leyland going to hit these guys? My early [...]
