THE CASPER WELL’S FINISH ETC…..

Computer problems prevented us from finishing our “DIAMOND IN THE
ROUGH” story, so here goes…

The 420th pick of the 14th round in the 2005 draft was called up by the
Tigers from Toledo on August 23, 2010. Here’s a taste of things to come from this aggressive horse:
94 AB 3o HITS 4 TATERS 17 RBI’S BA.323 .538 SA!

In a regular season of about 555 times at bat? well, you do the math.

After having the pleasure of watching this “galloping ghost” for the last
part of the 2010 season, JIM LEYLAND said: “Give me eight more of
this guy and I’ll beat your brains out every game.”

More telling we feel are the words of TOMMY BROOKENS, Tiger’s 1st
base coach, “HE WAS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE THE LAST MONTH OF THE 2010 MLB SEASON.”

That, Tiger fans, says it all and is why we are predicting that this
GALLOPING GHOST WILL BE A SUPER STAR!!

  1. Hi Bobby-san, I read that Casper Wells injured his left knee in the winter league on a recent monthly baseball magazine in Japanese. So I’m worrying about him. I just hope he and Brennan Boesch will help the Tigers in 2011. Go ! Tigers ! from Japan.

  2. HI KOHEI…way over there in Japan…don’t worry about CASPER WELLS…the “GALLOPING GHOST”
