THE SAVING MLB COALITION.

In Webster’s dictionary the word coalition is described as: “a temporary
alliance of distinct parties for joint action.”

The WBWF Quarterly is begining to form the SAVING MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL
COALTION (SMLBC). We are convinced that MLB is in serious trouble. We
sincerely believe that if a salary cap is not formed ASAP , the Yankees, Red
Sox, Angels, Dodgers and Phillies will win the World Series for years and years
to come.

The small media clubs just don’t stand a chance! Under the present MPC
(Millionaire Players Club) the free agent fat cats are signed for long term
contracts for billions of dollars while clubs like Pittsburg and Kansas City
stand helplessly by with no chance at all of winning a champioship ever
again! When do ever think that Washington will win the World Series?

Folks, THE FANS IN CINCINNATI WILL NEVER SEE THEIR REDS WIN A
CHAMPIONSHIP.

Something has to be done and perhaps the SMLBC can start the ball
rolling. We are just beginning and we are asking YOU to help us. If you
believe that something must be done to once again level the MLB
playing field which will give the small media clubs a chance then JOIN
US by emailing Bobby Hoeft at wbwf@sbcglobal.net ASAP! Let’s
see what we can do. It won’t cost us a thing. Thank You.

  1. Way to go Bobby! I’m with you. The second tier teams are nothing more than “farm clubs” grooming their talented pllayers for the “big buck” teams. The name of today’s game is “Show me the money”!

  2. WOW..your “second tier” comment is priceless. It’s so good that we’ll have
to use it as we fight for a salary cap…….bobby
