When Baseball Was Fun

The Tigers had to face the unbeatable ZACK GREINKE of the Kansas City Royals
five times this year while those nasty Minnesota Twins had not faced him at all…
that is until yesterday. And he clobbered them! He sent those pesky Twins
to Comerica Park in a foul mood for a mini world series of four games [...]

The Hawaiian Witch Doctor living in his roofed asylum, also known as the Metrodome, was
finally hooked and reeled in by the Tigers yesterday (9-21-09) during their most crucial
game of the year. As Adam Everett put it: “We’re talking a two game swing” meaning that
if they lose they’re only one game up on those pit [...]

As a farm boy I used to look out for real bats flying around out in the hay barn.
Today, however, baseball fans and players too, have to beware of splintered
baseball bats flying around every which way but loose!
