The Tiger’s TV and radio announcers have said the following words: “THE TIGERS
THREATEN, BUT, DO NOT SCORE” over and over and over! We are as sick
of them as we are the ARBY’S FREE BEEF SANDWICH offer, and we are really so sick of
that one that we’ve sworn off of eating beef at least until the cows come home!
The Tigers threaten, but don’t score can. of course, be traced to their horrible clutch
hitting, which is the worst in MLB! So, why is the entire TIGER NATION crying until it
hurts every red & white cellss in our delicate brains??
We think that we have the answer and will print it in a FEATURE, FRONT PAGE STORY
in the Fall edition of the WBWF coming out around August 27th. We will give you a
hint: THE KEY WORDS ARE: “CONFUSION AND UNSETTLED”. We will look closely at the
starting lineup as it broke out of Lakeland, Florida, last March.
